Week 3 was the first official session of Tech for the year 7 & 8s this year. We all knew the classes we were assigned to for the term, I was in Mrs Sharma's class. The first session was weird because there was some students that I had never met who attended St Pius Primary School. Anyways we all introduced ourselves and started by telling Mrs Sharma what we knew about SCIENCE. Then we created planes. The contest was based on distance, so physics. As the day went on so did we but before we headed out we caught up with some of the year 9s, then headed out.

Auckland Back In Level 3

If you had watched the news yesterday you would of heard about the Covid 19 update. If you didn't here's a quick recap: Auckland is back to alert level 3, while the rest of the country has moved to alert level 2.
The new levels follow two new Covid-19 community cases that could not be directly linked to earlier cases.
Jacinda Ardern made the announcement at 9pm on Saturday night. She said it was likely that Auckland would remain in alert level 3 for a whole week.
Aucklanders are asked to stay at home in their bubbles other than for essential travel. If they do go outside they must maintain a 2m distance and wear masks on all public transport.
Children are asked to stay home from school in Auckland and gatherings, including weddings and funerals, are limited to 100 people.

Hello my name is Sunipa, I’m a year 8 student attending Ruapotaka school and I am the Head Prefect.
I like music and art. Not really into P.E but when I do have to I will try my best to complete the task. My favorite hobbies include singing which is why I like music. My favorite genre of music is Hip Hop and R&B.
I absolutely love food but then again who doesn’t? One of my favorite meals will have to be butter chicken.
One of my favorite anime’s of all time is Demon Slayer. Just because of the action and the story behind it all.
My favorite subjects at school are maths, reading and writing. 
I was born in Auckland city and I live with my parents and 3 siblings.  My goal for this year is to have more knowledge so I can have a successful life that is filled with wisdom and fun. My goal in life is to be successful and also be a doctor or an oncologist.
