Yesterday afternoon at 5:30 pm Prime minister Jacinda Adern and Director-General of health Dr. Ashley Bloomfield announced Auckland will stay in Alert level 3 for 12 days and the rest of NZ will stay in level 2 for the same period of time. Schools will be open for children who need to attend, and particularly children of parents and caregivers that are essential workers. On Wednesday August the 26th Jacinda will decide if NZ extends the lock down or we all go back to normal.
How to keep safe:
- wash hands
- wear mask in public
- see you GP or doctor to see if your OK
- stay away from germs
- get tested
